FOUNDER & CHAIRPERSON
Ashanti founded maathemis as she is passionate about creating equality in her community. With a drive to make a difference, Ashanti completed a degree in Law and felt she could still make more of an impact on the world. Hence, the idea to start maathemis was born.

Jessica Border
SECRETARY
Jess is an environment lawyer who has always had an inherent desire to help people around her. She has organised and participated in many charitable events in the past and is excited to drive change for the WA community as part of maathemis.

Zara McMorran
TREASURER
Born in a small country town, community spirit and giving back have always been an integral part of Zara’s life. After recently welcoming her daughter, Zara’s motivation to lead by example and make a positive impact to the community around her has only strengthened.

Brooke Edwards
DEPUTY CHAIRPERSON
After losing people to close to her due to drug addiction and mental illness, Brooke wants to be part of change and make a difference by providing help, giving information and raising awareness to important issues in the community.

Imogen van Haagen
COMMITTEE MEMBER
With over a decade of experience in the Health industry, Imogen is an entrepreneur and business owner who has dedicated her life to helping people improve their mental, physical and emotional health. Having been involved in various charitable and fundraising events, Imogen’s passion to help people live happier, healthier lives is at the core of her life purpose.

Dillon Wong
COMMITTEE MEMBER
Dillon has been involved in community and volunteer organisations for many years. While he was at university he was fortunate enough to be the President of a student run organisation overseeing 150 enthusiastic uni student mentors delivering mentoring programs in high schools around Perth. Dillon is incredibly excited to work with maathemis in making a positive contribution to the community around him.

Jodie Bourne
COMMITTEE MEMBER
Jodie was born in the UK and moved to Australia at a young age. After being treated for a brain tumour, Jodie realised it is OK to ask for help and that fuelled her desire to help others. She has always searched for a way to give back and she’s excited to be part of maathemis to do just that!
